Starting November 21st, 2025, an original playlist by Yuki Chiba that spans over five hours of curated songs will be available to stream via Balenciaga Music. A dedicated page on balenciaga.com provides links to multiple streaming platforms that host this playlist via Balenciaga’s accounts, including Apple Music and Spotify. Noted as a major influence in Japanese hip-hop, Yuki Chiba started producing music as a teenager, yet it was not until 2024 that he began to release work under his own moniker. The first official Yuki Chiba single —Team Tomodachi—went viral immediately and has since been remixed by numerous artists worldwide including Duke Deuce, ¥ellow Bucks, and Will Smith. Later that year, Chiba was featured on Megan Thee Stallion’s album MEGAN in the song Mamushi, which peaked at number one on both U.S. and Japan streaming charts.
For this exclusive mix, the rapper, singer, songwriter, and all-around creative has selected key inspirations and current repeat-listens, spanning an eclectic assortment of genres—as does his own repertoire. The Balenciaga Music | Yuki Chiba playlist launch is accompanied by a campaign that shows the artist performing on stage, plus an animated track list in the format of an SMS conversation.
