On July 25, 2025, Balenciaga launches this year’s Qixi Festival with an exclusive
series and a dedicated campaign with portraits and videos lensed by artist Feng Li,
accompanied by still-life imagery shot by Anthony Seklaoui. Li’s images capture
couples at iconic Shanghai locations wearing pieces from the series while frozen in
time against the city’s dynamic pace, evoking moments of connection and
romance—visualizing the notion of time slowing down.
The campaign features Chinese actress Zhou Qiqi and actor Jiang Qilin in key looks
from the Fall 25 collection, accessorized with exclusive versions of the Rodeo Mini
Handbag and Le City Bowling Bag decorated with Qixi-inspired charms—as well as
medium and oversized-fit T-shirts featuring the series’ interlocking hearts logo.
Still-life images unveil the Rodeo Messenger Bag, a grey grained leather variant of
the Rodeo Handbag, and Le City—now available in an extra wide size, as well as a
luggage tag charm and Qixi-exclusive footwear styles, including a pink 3XL Sneaker
with tonal satin ribbon lacing and Furry platform sandal.
