On April 10th, 2026, an original playlist curated by Lee Sora will be available to stream via Balenciaga Music. A dedicated page on balenciaga.com provides links to multiple platforms that stream it via Balenciaga’s official accounts, including Apple Music, Spotify, QQ Music and others.
The beloved South Korean singer, songwriter, producer, radio DJ, and TV host Lee Sora began her music career in 1993 as the lead vocalist of Strange People. She has since released eight solo studio albums and many more singles with international acclaim, winning 2005’s female Musician of the Year, 2010’s Best Pop Album, and 2010’s Best Pop Song at the Korean Music Awards. A devoted fanbase formed, some finding her via the multiple music-centric radio and television shows that she has hosted on the Korean Broadcasting System and Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation channels.
For Balenciaga, she has named 47 of her musical inspirations and current favorite songs in an eclectic selection reminiscent of her own past programs. The playlist launch is accompanied by campaign artwork showing its track listing handwritten on a stack of mixtapes and Lee Sora’s album artwork displayed on the visualizer screen of an MP3 player.
