Scanned to match every detail of a bottle found in the archives dating back to 1947, each perfume is encased in packaging etched with the patina of age. Using modern industrial technology to evoke a timelapse of history, this deliberate aging lends character to a collection defined by contrasts and dualities.
The fragrance box revives the original design of Le Dix, its logotype resurfacing on the exterior, nestled within Balenciaga’s deep industrial grey packaging, a metaphor for the fusion of past and present, and a testament to the trace of time.
