Inaugurating this newly established core value of wellness, a series of global activations are predicated on contemporary health-conscious rituals.
Designed by Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli and debuted with the Fall 26 Collection, Body & Being, Balenciaga TechWear’s sophisticated men’s and women’s pieces express luxury through comfort and ease. The line is codified with the Balenciaga Bodies graphic identity: a looping gesture signifying infinite movement and boundlessness.
Pro-body, cutting-edge materials innovations include mesh-membraned taffeta tracksuits and leather windbreaker sets featuring flat edge-to-edge no-stitch seams, a result of ultrasonic-welded nylon tape. Aqua-zip closures are waterrepellent due to a reverse knit process. Cutout bodysuits, hooded cowls, fitted tops, bike shorts, hot pants, leggings, and socks are elastic, breathable, antibacterial, fast-drying, moisture-wicking, and UV-protective. High-vis motifs are light-reflective—to be worn indoors and out, day and night.
Celebrating the TechWear Wellness launch, pop-ups in Paris, Beijing, Shanghai, and Bangkok feature original, limited-edition beverages and bars, within dedicated displays. Smoothies include the black-and-white Main Character with marine collagen cubes, the cordyceps-enhanced peanut buttery Momentum, and the ashwagandha-infused mango matcha Back to Life—each optionally boosted with vitamin oil, pea protein, and/or creatine. Freshly made Balenciaga juices include the detoxifying Green Flag, antioxidant-rich Red Alert, vitamin C-centric Glow with the Flow, and super-hydrating All Clear. Balenciaga Operational and Reset Form, allnatural ingredient pre- and post-workout bars, respectively, are powered by protein and adaptogens.
Balenciaga takeovers at participating Barry’s fitness studios in Los Angeles, New York City, London, Paris, Milan, Dubai, Singapore, and Sydney further contextualize the House’s dedication to wellness. Barry’s, the global boutique fitness pioneer founded in 1998 in West Hollywood, partners with Balenciaga—a first for each company—to provide customized classes with special guests, curated Balenciaga Music playlists, specialty décor, and a Balenciaga | Barry’s smoothie at Barry’s iconic Fuel Bar.
