On November 14th, 2025, Balenciaga becomes the first luxury fashion house to collaborate with PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, developed and owned by Krafton Inc, and PUBG MOBILE, co-developed by LightSpeed Studios of Tencent Games and Krafton, Inc.
With over one billion downloads worldwide and top rankings in more than one hundred countries, PUBG’s multiplayer franchise—including PUBG MOBILE, one of the world’s most popular mobile games—stands as one of the greatest successes in video game history.
Following Balenciaga’s own foray into game design with Afterworld: The Age of Tomorrow and collaborations with various major global gaming brands, the House continues its engagement with the world’s leading entertainment industry—surpassing, in recent years, both film and music—recognizing new possibilities for real-time self-expression.
Balenciaga’s collaboration with PUBG—consisting of in-game content, merch, and gifts for the winners of this year’s official tournaments—pinpoints a convergence between the cultural roles of fashion, gaming, and eSports, particularly their shared interests in creativity, technology, and found community. The collaboration spans both PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and PUBG MOBILE, featuring unique activations within each platform.
Originally launched in 2017, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS pioneered the battle royale genre, in which dozens of players traverse an expansive map, in competition to be the last one standing. Through this collaboration, a variety of Balenciaga in-game content will be introduced in stages, combining the brand’s distinctive design aesthetics with PUBG’s iconic identity.
In PUBG MOBILE, players may unlock exclusive Balenciaga looks and pieces, including the Couture Armor look inspired by a 3D-printed dress from the 52nd Couture Collection and, from the Winter 25 Collection, a pink corset-fitted puffer, a Standard logo T-shirt, distressed jeans, a super-fitted hoody, a trompe l’oeil tied sleeve miniskirt, and thigh-high stiletto boots, along with accessories such as a blue fur helmet and piercing-covered bags from the Explorer, Le City, and Superbusy lines.
A series of physical merch celebrating the partnership is available in select Balenciaga stores and on balenciaga.com in Australia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States. A signature fit T-shirt and cap in faded black are each emblazoned with dark yellow PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, PUBG MOBILE, and Balenciaga logos on all sides. A bag charm consists of a mini pierced Explorer Backpack and a leather logo-stamped card.
Acknowledging 2025’s massive PUBG Global Competitions—for mobile and PC, taking place in Bangkok from December 12th to the 14th—a physical, custom Balenciaga bomber will be granted to each player on the winning teams. These jackets showcase a classic Balenciaga silhouette and a variety of exclusive, handstenciled effect graphics. The partnership will also be showcased at PUBG UNITED 2025—the first-ever combined global stage uniting PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and PUBG MOBILE.
