Beginning October 1, 2020, Balenciaga’s Spring 21 collection will be in stores and online. Within the collection is the We Are Pink capsule, a series of unisex products created in support of breast cancer prevention research.

Balenciaga We Are Pink jewelry and clothing feature the universally recognized symbol for breast cancer awareness, a looped pink ribbon. On the backs of hoodies, long-sleeves, and T-shirts, the slogan WE ARE PINK is featured above a Balenciaga logo.

Ten percent of proceeds from Balenciaga We Are Pink products will help fund a research program at Institut Curie. This program aims to demonstrate the utility of an early breast cancer relapse detection method which measures circulating tumor DNA evaluable on a simple blood draw. Results of Institut Curie’s research will be publicly available.

Through social messaging and targeted contributions, Balenciaga hopes to create a positive impact on the world. We Are Pink is one of many campaigns created to shift focus towards a topic in need of attention now.
