BALENCIAGA CONTINUES ITS SUPPORT OF THE WORLD FOOD PROGRAMME

Balenciaga partnered with the World Food Programme (WFP) in 2018, in an endeavor to draw attention to a spike in global hunger.

Our first collaboration, featuring a range of items carrying the WFP logo and its slogan, “Saving Lives, Changing Lives,” was sold with information about the organization’s work. Ten percent of the proceeds was donated to WFP.

New Balenciaga | WFP series are introduced annually with the same goals. Twenty percent of the proceeds from each product sold is donated to WFP. The collaboration’s success has provided funds to support WFP’s greatest needs, helping alleviate hunger and malnutrition in vulnerable communities worldwide.

In 2022, for example, WFP launched an emergency operation to provide food assistance for people fleeing the conflict inside Ukraine and in neighboring countries.
