The Hacker Project

The Hacker Project presents pieces that merge Balenciaga and Gucci House codes and in so doing explores and questions the ideas of authenticity, counterfeiting, and appropriation within the fashion industry.

The line, which also includes limited edition bags hand-tagged with This Is Not a Gucci Bag, will be available in stores and online starting in November of 2021.

THE HACKER PROJECT IN SPRING 22 CLONES COLLECTION

The series conflates Gucci codes with recognizable Balenciaga structures and styling. In so doing, it creates a fusion of identifiers, inverting the common goal of fashion branding.
