PRICES

While Balenciaga tries to ensure that all prices on the website are accurate, errors may occur and the prices listed for some products may be incorrect. If Balenciaga discovers a pricing error for any of the products ordered by a customer, Balenciaga will give the customer the option to either reconfirm the order at the correct price or to cancel the order. If Balenciaga is unable to contact the customer, Balenciaga will treat the order as cancelled. Balenciaga has no obligation to and will not provide a product at an erroneous price, even if Balenciaga has sent an erroneous Dispatch Confirmation to a customer. OUR PRODUCTS

CARE

All of Balenciaga leather products have unique qualities. A special treatment has been developed to maintain the soft hand of the leather, giving it a distinctive vintage appearance. For the best possible care of a product, Balenciaga recommends to protect it from water and direct sources of heat and light. Balenciaga also recommends to clean the article with a dry flannel cloth and store it in its flannel bag.

For Balenciaga ready-to-wear pieces, Balenciaga recommends dry cleaning, unless otherwise instructed on the care label inside the garment.

REPAIRS

Balenciaga offers a repair service for products purchased online on the Balenciaga website. A product can be taken to a Balenciaga boutique for an assessment of repair. The original sales slip is needed for any type of repair. Balenciaga does not provide a repair service for products purchased through unauthorized retailers. Please contact Balenciaga Customer Service for further advice.

ALTERATIONS

US PAYMENTS ONLY

CONTRACT OF SALES

An email confirmation is sent to the customer as soon as an order has been placed. This does not mean that the order has been accepted. All orders are subject to acceptance by Balenciaga, and an email confirmation will notify the customer as soon as an order has been accepted and processed. Upon receipt of the confirmation email, please promptly verify the contents and immediately notify Balenciaga Customer Service of any mistake that is discovered.

The transaction will be charged to the customers credit card only after Balenciaga has verified the card details, received credit authorization, confirmed stock availability, and the order is ready to be shipped. The credit card will not be charged at the time the order is submitted but will be charged for $2 for verification purposes that will be reimbursed within 5 to 7 business days.
For security reasons, the billing name and address must match that of the credit card used for payment. Balenciaga reserves the right to cancel any order that does not match these criteria.

For returns, refunds may only be issued in the same form as payment, we do not issue store credits for online purchased.

SALES TAX

Balenciaga charges all applicable state, local and county taxes on online transactions as required by applicable laws. Please note that your on-screen transaction total reflects the estimated tax. The actual sales tax will be calculated when your order is shipped and may vary from the estimated tax, including in case of law change. You as customer are solely responsible for all duties and taxes on shipments.

Balenciaga.com is required by law to charge sales tax on orders being shipped to California, Florida (starting 09/01/2011), Nevada, New Jersey and New York.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

METHODS

Balenciaga online boutique only ships to destinations within the United States. All purchases are shipped via UPS, except for same-day delivery via messenger within Manhattan, when available.
For security reasons, Balenciaga online purchases will require a signature upon delivery. In addition, purchases may not be shipped to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses, which are not secured by UPS.

Upon delivery, please make sure that the number of boxes delivered are as stated on the delivery confirmation document, and that the package is not damaged in any way. Any damage to the packaging and/or the product or any discrepancy between the number of boxes delivered, should be immediately notified by indicating in writing on the courier’s delivery documents.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE

The order is dispatched within 48 hours of purchase from the Balenciaga warehouse, between Monday to Friday, excluding local and national holidays.
Balenciaga shall not be responsible for unpredictable delays. Except for cases of force majeure, the order is delivered within a maximum of 30 (thirty) days following the day after placing the order online.

ECO-SHIPPING

All Balenciaga deliveries for online orders are including the UPS "Carbon Neutral" option.
To compensate for the carbon dioxide emissions generated by its deliveries, Balenciaga takes in charge the "Carbon Neutral" option which helps to contribute to projects aimed at reducing air pollution, like planting trees and promoting renewable energy.
Almost everything we do, even shopping, produces some of the global warming gas carbon dioxide. Global warming is caused by a build up of carbon dioxide (CO2) acting like a planetary duvet and trapping heat in the atmosphere.
Although purchasing online is a reasonably low carbon activity, we recognize that the driving and flying involved in delivering your Balenciaga purchases produces CO2. Working with its partners, the Carbon Neutral Company UPS have balanced that carbon dioxide to net zero making all of the deliveries Carbon Neutral®.

RESPONSIBILITY

Risk of loss or damage to products ordered on this site is passed to the customer upon shipment of the products; title is passed once Balenciaga has received payment in full for the products.

ECO-PACKAGING

Products purchased from the Balenciaga online boutique will be delivered in packaging suitable for gift giving. Products are tissue-wrapped and enclosed in a Balenciaga signature box or in an envelope with ribbon. Gifts will be shipped with a gift-appropriate receipt that does not include the price of the item.
All Balenciaga wrapping used for on-line orders are made with recycled or organic materials.

ORDER STATUS

TRACK AN ORDER

A shipping confirmation is emailed to the customer as soon as the purchase has been shipped, which will allow for tracking the status of the shipment. In addition, Balenciaga will email a delivery confirmation after receiving the notification from UPS that the purchase has been delivered.

To ensure the security of deliveries, Balenciaga does not provide tracking numbers, but Balenciaga Customer Service follows and maintains a tracking number for each delivery.

CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS

In order to modify or cancel an order, please contact Balenciaga Customer Care as soon as possible. Balenciaga makes every effort to accommodate a customers request. However, once a product has left the premises for shipping, the order cannot be cancelled or modified until the product has been returned to Balenciaga. If this is the case, please refer to Balenciaga return policy and return the purchase once received.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Please note that a different return policy is applicable for in-store purchases.
The standard return shipping via UPS is complimentary. Please use the UPS pre-paid return label enclosed with your order. To process a return or an exchange, please follow the guidelines below.

Return by mail
1. Visit "Your account" page on the website or please contact Balenciaga Customer Service to request a return authorization number. 2. Complete the "Return Form" enclosed in the shipment, including the return authorization number.
3. Pack and seal the return merchandise securely and include the completed “Return Form” and the invoice.
4. Affix the pre-paid UPS return label on the outside of the box.
5. Drop off your package at UPS or contact them at 1-800-PICK-UPS (742-5877) to arrange for a pickup. Allow 2-3 weeks from the shipping date for your return to be validated and your account credited. A confirmation email is sent when the return has been validated and processed. Exchanges are only accepted for an item at the same price. In such case, please follow the guidelines below:
Exchange by mail
1- Visit "Your account" page on the website or please contact Balenciaga Customer Service to request a return authorization number.
Exchange for another color or size is subject to product availability
2- Complete the “Return Form” enclosed in the shipment, including the return authorization number.

The exchange item is shipped once the return has been processed. A confirmation email is sent when the return has been validated and processed.
For an exchange of a product with a different price, please follow the "Return" guidelines and place a new order online. Your refund will be processed within 2-3 weeks after the return shipping date and your account will be charged once the exchange item has been shipped.

RETURN A GIFT

Please return the goods to Balenciaga within 20 days from the delivery date using the UPS pre-paid return label and ensuring the return conditions are met. Returns are refunded to the original purchaser through the original method of payment. Balenciaga does not issue store credits for online purchases.
